IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Edition Watch For Volvo Ocean Race
IWC recently announced a new version of their Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph watch that came out about two years ago. The great looking piece is probably one of my top pics from the brand at this time and now is featured in an even more sporty skin. This version is done in collection with the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012. Beyond that I guess a new watch will be made?The rear of the watch has "Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012" engraved on the back. IWC is the officially timekeeper for the boat race events. In the race IWC is also the official sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team. Interesting that they sponsor the event and one of the teams.The titanium case and carbon fiber dial look good together and feel fitting with the high-end racing boats. These performance machines operate thanks to very capable sailors and seconds count when needed to start the race. Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980 Watch
New Patek Philippe watches for 2010 didn't exactly make me jump for joy, but I did like the two new additions to the Nautilus collection. No new movements, but new implementations in the Nautilus cases. Here is the Nautilus Chronograph (ref. 5980 in steel and 5980R in gold), and I also liked the Nautilus Annual Calendar Ref. 5726 that I wrote about here. What I like about the layout of the Patek Philippe Caliber CH 280520 C is that is it is a 12 hour chronograph that looks like a watch with only a subsidiary seconds dial (more or less) - and is still easy to read. Panerai trade for 15400?
Now that I'm back in love with AP I have a few things I'm thinking of getting rid of.I have a dealer friend who has a brand new 15400 silver dial and would trade for my Panerai 224 plus a little cash. The 224 was a limited run of 100 pieces sold only through the Florence Boutique.Thoughts?Lindsey

Unexpectedly back in Breitling!
Hi everyone, just wanted to share a little story of how I ended up back in Breitling after about 9 years of absence. Firstly, I had been focused on adding to my panerai collection with a radiomir 292, I have been admiring this watch for some time. Anyway, I had been in Orlando for a week with my young family doing the whole Disney World experience which was amazing and on shopping adventures my wife and I ended up at a AD of panerai, which happened to have a 292, which I tried on and was somewhat disappointed with my reaction. I wasn't thrilled about it on my wrist. So, back it went on tho the display, then my wife suggested I add another IWC to my collection and looked at the Galapagos which just looked to plasticky for the price.....then she saw the Breitling store and said to take a look. Immediately she scoped out my new purchase the Superocean M2000, with the green accents on the chrono, nice watch and nice wrist presence. Very happy with it so far.
