Movado’s Classic Datron is Back
Movado's new Series 800 Datron is inspired by the classic 1970 Datron automatic chronograph. The new model is the first entry in Movado's Collector's Edition series. The 40mm tonneau-shaped Datron is powered by the ETA caliber 2894-2 automatic chronograph with 37 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve. The round date aperture at 12 is an homage to Movado's iconic Museum dot. Two dials are available: black with silver subdials and silver with black subdials, as shown below. The Datron is available exclusively on a combination brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with butterfly deployant clasp. The Datron has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and exhibition case-back, and it is water-resistant to 5 ATM.The Datron is priced at $2990. Look for it in stores in May.
Loving my new Breitling Superocean Steelfish.
I have been on the search for a Breitling Steelfish for a couple of weeks, my regular AD was out on the dial I wanted but another store had it on a strap, my Ad asked me to hold out on the other guy and give him a couple of days, as usual he comes through. found me a Steelfish on bracelet for less than what the other guy was charging for it on leather I wanted an everyday brushed watch that was on the simpler side IE no chrono and with a white or black dial. My choices were between the Omega Seamaster and the Breitling Steelfish for around 1900USD (my limit). Decided to go with the Breitling simply because I like the design better and I did have and sell a Seamaster before. Now that it is on my wrist I dont know why I even considered the Omega. The Breitling blows it away completely!!! Here is what i really love about it:1- Best damn sapphire crystal I have ever seen. All Breitlings have amazingly good crystals, feels like I can reach in and play with the hands.2- The case is beau
Just got my first Omega today! WOW!!
Just got my first Omega today. It's the Speedy Pro. 3570. This is my first high end time piece so it's quite a lot to take in. Not being from a wealthy background, it's quite a feeling of accomplishment to know I can afford something this nice. Shots to follow but just let me soak it in.Thank you to the users in a previous thread that steered me toward the 3570 vs the 50th patch.Special thanks to Fr. John for getting me in touch with his AD. Easiest transaction possible and fabulous service. Thanks!!
Am I Nuts?
I liked to pose a question to my fellow steel PP owners. I just recently purchased nautilus 5712/1a. Well the scratches are starting to show and they are driving me nuts. I own two gold watches and I'm able to use a polishing cloth to keep them tip top. Here's my question. Is there a cloth I can use to keep my nautilus looking show room new? Or am I nuts and just have to learn to live with the scratches?
New Years Day spent with a tool watch and ice tools
Happy New Year to all Rolex fans. I started the day with some ice climbing In -8F weather in the white mountains of NH. My SD4K performed flawlessly.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
