Anyone move from 5164a -- 5164r?
Thinking of making that switch myself. Curious what your thoughts are and in particular if you can still pull off the brown dial/strap with a suit. Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incoming! My first Tudor
and I think I picked out a winner I actually had to wait a little more than a week to pick it up as I was out of town. They held it for me. My interest in this watch began late last year or early January, and the hunt was on after that. Stickers are off. I plan to wear this bad boy and will worry about the collectible aspect of it later!! I will post better pictures when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
INCOMING!!! (Sligthly) blue brother for the Z-blue Milgauss!
So, after a year of frequenting this forum and reading, learning on our beloved mutual passion I couldn't help myself and I've cracked for the second time. I'm in it for the long run now. Damn all of you :)Since a couple of months I've been craving a second Rolex to add to my starting watch collection. I'm a sucker for blue and was looking into getting an iconic classic in the professionel line: the Sub or a GMT to add next to my more 'quircky' less conventional Milgauss. TT or precious metals are not for me now, I'm in my late 20's so sticking with SS. The Sub I find a great watch and a timeless classic icon but a litte too common for my taste. And like my Milgauss I like a bit of coulour especially blue and a special feature. So look no further! The GMT BLNR caught my eye with the partly blue ceramic bezel. The blue has so much depth in different lighting circumstances. And it's an impressive fact that Rolex is the only one that can create a flawless dual colored ceramic bezel. I thi
Terrifying daylight Rolex robbery
I'm dismayed to report that a good guy's store was robbed by an almost unbelievable ruse. And with violence like pepper spray and worse (including things we don't discuss here)Story: .wsbtv/news/local/deka...eist/655305778Peter is the owner and his daughter was working there too. Very scary. I'm sorry to report this is the 3rd friend whose had such a robbery in past 10 years. Always the robbers go for the Rolexes. I guess all you can do is be careful about more stolen ones on the market now - prolly eBay or other online marketplaces. Sent from my iPhoneX using Tapatalk
