Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Jumping Hour Watch
Christopher Ward really does release a lot of new timepieces each year. A few of them are real winners in my opinion. One of those which is interesting is this new C9 Harrison Jumping Hour watch, which is actually the most expensive watch Christopher Ward has every offered at $1,585. Not for everyone, this is a great piece for those who have been fascinated by jumping hour complications - one of the first types of watches to experiment with digital displays.A jumping hour watch basically has a disc with numerals on it for the hour. This disc "jumps" each hour to show the correct hour digitally. The minutes are still indicated via a traditional analog hand. The idea of this watch is to improve legibility by reducing the confusion that can occur from having two hands to read. The primary feature here is the "jumping" disc which does not slowly move from one hour to another (but rather jumps a whole disc position). For their jumping hour watch Christopher Ward uses a specially modified Swi
We found that clients often have a family connection with Omega
Our long heritage gives us some advantage. We found that clients often have a family connection with Omega; they are attracted by our long history in space or they like James Bond. These and other factors can establish a special relationship between a client and our brand. Internet, potential customers are better informed than they have ever been to it, but the final decision, nothing can replace the trip to retailers. Their decision ultimately depends is how the watch looks on their wrist and how it is their sense.
Changing dials on AP 26320
Is it possible to change dials on the AP 26320? If you let's say want to go from black to white or white to black.
Breitling Canada
just wondering if anyone has dealt with Breitling Canada, on another post I stated my battery was dead on my emergency, so I emailed them.I got a response saying they service the watches locally in Toronto, I always thought they shipped it to Switzerland, as my first service the dealer shipped it there for service.they said it will take 4-6 weeks ?? isn't this a bit long for a battery change and maybe a cleaning or polish ?
First Patek.Tough Decision
I went down to the local AD in Denver this afternoon to try on some watches. I had never had a Patek on my wrist, but I have decided that I want to add one to my collection. The AD didn't have a huge selection, but I was happy to try on the 5167R-001 as well as a 5712R-001. After spending some time with both of the watches, I truly love them both. They are obviously very different, and also somewhat smaller than what I am used to. Currently I wear the larger Rolex models, and Panerai. Ultimately, I think both pieces end up in my collection at some point, but I am wondering if you guys have some insight or a suggestion as to where I should start. My budget at this time will not permit me buying two pieces, as I already have a second Rolex piece I want to add in the short term. I look forward to some feedback. Thanks, JPS
