Introducing the Autodromo Prototipo Brian Redman LE
I've been a pretty big fan of the Autodromo Prototipo watches since they were first released in 2013. Simply put, they are one of the best releases of the last couple of years, with pitch perfect styling and razor sharp execution. Their vintage aesthetic just nails the look and feel of 60's and 70's racing chronographs, but with enough twists and turns to make them distinctly Autodromo. I recommend reading our lengthy review here, if you are unfamiliar with the watches. One such twist was that when they were initially released, there was a limited edition version dedicated to Vic Elford, a renowned driver of the Prototype-era. The watch, which featured a 3-eye chronograph, some very stylized coloration based on Mr. Elford's Porsche 907 paint job, sold out almost immediately upon release.Following the success of the Elford, Autodromo has teamed up with another iconic driver of the prototype era for a new limited edition watch. Different interpretations of "Lume"
Love how Omega does the lume so differently on the Speedies and all pretty cool :-)
A new friend for my Speedmaster
I think I have all my masters covered now. With my new Speedmaster 9300 and this new Seamaster PO 8500 on rubber, I think I have a pretty respectable one-two punch now. I have had this PO before on bracelet and I have to say I MUCH, MUCH prefer it on the OEM rubber strap.
Ladies Deville Prestige 4375.71.00 Advice
I want to buy my wife a watch. She does not like Rolex's in her self-imposed price range of $5000 - 6500. We went out and looked this weekend and of course everything she did like was $10,000 or better but she does not want to spend that much. She is very frugal I am the one saying if you love it, buy it! Then we saw an Omega that was quite nice and in her range it was the Deville Prestige 4375.71.00 she decided to think about it but I think I might sneak off and buy it. It looked really good on her and she did really like it.I was just wondering what was the verdict on this watch?
Ok I get it now....
So today I got to put this baby on and now I get it. The weight, size, and thickness are right on. Passed on this baby (next guy is happy) as I'm still waiting on the blue......Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
