Vacheron Constantin’s Quai de l'Ile collection offers contemporary design and a unique opportunity for owners to create their own distinctive example via a series of personalization options. For 2011, a new Retrograde Annual Calendar joins the collection, powered by the new Vacheron Constantin Calibre 2460 QRA automatic movement. Available in pink or white gold, or both if the customer desires, the 43mm case houses a new movement designed, developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin, and bearing the Hallmark of Geneva. The 326-part Calibre 2460 QRA drives the hours, minutes and small seconds at 9 o'clock, as well as the annual calendar with retrograde date display, months and a high-precision moon-phase indication requiring correction once every 122 years. What does the haute horology world need now? High-end Ralph Lauren watches of course. No less with movements from sibling watch companies IWC and Jaeger LeCoultre, all under parent Richemont Group. The Sporting Collection is my favorite line of new Ralph Lauren watches. I'd certainly "sport" one (cheesy pun), but it is unlikely I'd pay the price. I have a feeling that these watches, while very high in quality, will go the way of Panerai made (also part of the Richemont Group) Ferrari watches. Those started going at half of retail eventually. Just not the right type of marketing. Swiss Made on Omega Dials '
Can anyone help me ? A friend was showing me a couple of old Omega'she inherited. They are both pretty beatup and frankly don't look as if they have ever been in the top end of the marque. At the bottom of the dials is the legend Swiss Made . My question is , was there a specific year or date that the words , Swiss Made , were dropped by Omega ? Did all the other watch manufacturers do it at the same time ( no pun intended ) ? If you have the answer...please let me know.

Hi Guys,I have an question regarding my NEW Omega SMP 300 Co-Axial. I bought this watch a month ago (Brand NEW at AD) as my daily beater. Until yesterday everything was fine. Every day when I return from work I take my watch off and put it on the next morning. Last weekend my Omega had on Saturday like 2 hours wrist time and Sunday about the same. This morning (Monday) I woke up and my watch was 30 minutes behind. (7:40 instead of 8:30)I thought Ok, since Friday he had almost no wrist time and the reserves could get empty. I put on the right time and I went to my work. At 9:15 I look at my watch and It was suddenly 7:10,the watch went 2 hours back or 10 hours ahead.What could this be?????
