Return of the Corum Bubble Watch: Three New Models Debut
The Corum Bubble watch �� flaunting a large, round case and prominent domed crystal �� made its debut in 2000 and wowed some segments of the watch enthusiast community with its radically unconventional design. Numerous and often colorful versions of that original model appeared throughout the early aughts, until eventually Corum, seeking more serious horological cred, opted to move away from the trendy Bubble to focus more on its core Admiral’s Cup and Golden Bridge collections. This year, however, Corum brings back this cult-favorite timepiece in three new versions.The first two are part of Corum’s recently established Op Art series, which pays aesthetic homage to the optical art movement pioneered by French-Hungarian artist Victor Vasarely. New acquisition, first Panerai
I never considered this brand before. I was on Rolex, AP, Patek, Omega, etc but never Panerai. I am extremely impressed with this piece. Modern vs Vintage (submariner)
I am looking into getting a new watch, and was told to look into getting a vintage ss sports watch.I was never really keen on vintage (I'm using pre-ceramic as a reference), I always preferred the weight and size of the modern watches(ceramic), but I have told numerous times vintage ss sports watches are better.Is their an objective reasoning that many argue vintage is better than modern? Are the movements better, more durable, more reliable?
