Swatch Group Acquires Harry Winston Watch & Jewelry
The Swatch Group has added another jewel �� or, more precisely, jeweler �� to its crown. The Bienne, Switzerland-based company, which owns watch brands ranging from Swatch to Hamilton to Omega to Breguet, announced Monday that it is acquiring world-renowned jewelry brand Harry Winston, which in recent years has also become a bastion of high watchmaking.In the deal, Swatch Group Ltd. gets 100 percent of the shares of HW Holdings Inc., owner of New York-based Harry Winston, Inc., giving the Group ownership of the brand and all activities related to its jewelry and watches, including its 535 employees worldwide and production company in Geneva, Switzerland. The acquisition sum amounts to U.S. $750 million plus the assumption of up to U.S. $250 million of pro forma net debt. Is there a rose gold (on bracelet) RO in the 39mm size?I've found 41mm RO and ROC chrono models in rose gold. I think I've found a yellow gold 39mm RO. I'm assuming if it exists, it would be a discontinued model at this point. Any help?Thanks!

Hi guys,After showing a family friend my recently purchased a Speedmaster Pro 3570, he mentioned that he also had an Omega Speedmaster that he had purchased new (here in New Zealand) many years ago.Pictures of the watch are below, i'm trying to find out some more info on it and it's possible value.I've searched the internet and came to the conclusion that it looks exactly like a Speedmaster MarkII. The only difference is that this model has an applied Omega logo and DOESN'T have MARKII printed on the dial under Professional, like all the others i've seen.Is it possible that this is a very early version before they started printing MARK II on the dial?Any info would be great thanks...CheersJeremy

In the next year I will be looking to purchase a white Gold Sub or 41mm Day-Date II Presidential I love both watches but would like opinions on both watches. I am 50 and looking forward to having a watch I can wear dressed up or casual. WG works for me because I like to stay under the radar.
