Movado’s Classic Datron is Back
Movado's new Series 800 Datron is inspired by the classic 1970 Datron automatic chronograph. The new model is the first entry in Movado's Collector's Edition series. The 40mm tonneau-shaped Datron is powered by the ETA caliber 2894-2 automatic chronograph with 37 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve. The round date aperture at 12 is an homage to Movado's iconic Museum dot. Two dials are available: black with silver subdials and silver with black subdials, as shown below. The Datron is available exclusively on a combination brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with butterfly deployant clasp. The Datron has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and exhibition case-back, and it is water-resistant to 5 ATM.The Datron is priced at $2990. Look for it in stores in May.
Yellow & Black... Another BEE? Not quite...
They are rarer! Tried on these two babies yesterday. They are sweet The details are really intriguing.Jalan Bukit Bintang (JBB), also nicknamed KillBill due to its yellow/black theme, is a commemorative model created for the AP boutique located at Jalan Bukit Bintang (Star Hill Street in English) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The blackened hex screws on the bezel, bright yellow numerals and hands as well as the stock yellow strap with black stitch really stand out!And the End of Day... don't think I need to further elaborate its rareness and collectibility. Scrutinizing it while holding it in my hand was an amazing experience.Personally, I find it interesting that these 2 watches share the same yellow & black color scheme on the main dial and hands, while interchange the similar colors on the strap & stitch, as well as on the bezel and hex screws. AP has been able to use just yellow and black very effectively to create some amazing ROO models!Enjoy the pics!
New Arrival!! (from new member)
I have been following this site for some times; really do enjoy reading all the posts on this site. Anyhow, I just got this watch couple weeks back; but haven't gotten a chance to put it on. Since today is such a wonderful day, i decided to finally cut/open the sacred seal! Here we go.....my new favourite 5205RWhen I first saw the pics of both variation of 5205R, i set my mind straight for black dial. As time went by and i got the chance to look at both dials, my love for white dial started to grow and finally i could not resist the charm of this wonderful dial.I do hope you guys enjoy these amateurish pictures; and i will try my best to actively participate in this forum. Very nice to meet you all; and thanks again for viewing.

Finally here after a long await...
So here's my story that started back in 2006 after the birth of my daughter. I remember purchasing a men's Journal magazine where they had a sea dweller ad that caught my eye...Fast forward to today with a couple pics of What are you drinking along with the Collection and What writing instruments do you ownEnjoying it immensely and wanted to share with my TRF family. -Steve
