The Full Roster Of Watch Candidates For The Grand Prix d'Horlogerie De Geneve
The Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève was created in 2001 to recognize achievement in watchmaking in a wide range of categories and the founding members include the Canton of Geneva, the City of Geneva, the Musée International de l'Horlogerie in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Timelab, and the Edipress Group. Watches are pre-selected for consideration in the Grand Prix and winners are chosen from a wide range of categories. Below are just a few of the candidate timepieces – this is just a small sample and includes distinguished timepieces from Audemars Piguet, Seiko, MB&F, and Kari Voutilainen, but it'll give you a rough idea of the scope and variety of the watches included in the Grand Prix. 1 OF 4 2 OF 4 3 OF 4 4 OF 4 It's not a perfect analogy to the Academy Awards but it's still a competition in which dozens of firms compete for the top slot in key categories like Ladies' Watches, Ladies' High Mech, Men's
Am I ruining the AP look with a small dial? (37mm)
Hey guys.Yes it is me again; I do apologise for making another thread, however your opinions are greatly appreciated, and I am really thinking this one hard now.I am thinking of picking this beauty up as my dress watch / business casual attire watch.I have a BLNR which serves me as an all rounder.Do you think I am killing the look with a small dial? Or you think this works for me?I have 6 ish wrists. On a side note, I would like to ask current RO members on the durability of this watch.I do understand that these watches are gentle and can catch scratches easily, which I have no problem with, however is it easy to dent the watch with a slight hit on the door, etc? Give me your honest opinions.Thank you all
AP Diver vs Vacheron Overseas Deep Stream Chrono?!?
Which one would YOU prefer and why ?I know we all lover the Diver (steel version being considered). And I do have an AP bracelet that would, of course, look killer on it. I have an opportunity to snag one but could do the Vacheron Overseas Deep Stream at similar cost.I do already have a Panda, which of course is a chrono.......but am intrigued by the Vacheron.Need to pull the trigger quickly so need some thoughts and opinions of the crew here, they are always greatly appreciated !!!!!! TIA !
Nauti by Nature - part 2
With all the craziness of 5711 and 5712. I think we should look at the nautilus again as a series. Each model offers something different that makes it a nice collection. Agree?BTW, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! Wish you all the best and good health!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is so scary to wear my Rolex in NYC subways!
So to be safe, I wear my Patek 3970P and 3970J. What about you guys? Which part of your city or which country makes you feel unsafe wearing your Rolex?
