Watches NEWS
Stopped in Omega today
So I got rid of my PO 8500 cal. Im currently with out an Omega. I happen to be by the Omega boutique and stopped in. I'm in love with the new Seamaster 300! I use to own this watch, mine was new in 98. It had the wave dial. I realized how much I miss this model. The new version does not have the wave dial, it has the new ceramic bezel and the Lume has been increased. Very clean- What a beautiful watch! I'm sure I'll be adding this watch in the near future.
Patek Philippe 5053
I recently came into possession of a Patek Philippe 5053.Can anyone enlighten me as to the cost of a proper bracelet for this piece (as it is currently outfitted with a rubber Chopard bracelet). Also, any idea of the value of this piece (with and without a real band on it).It is white gold, so I am assuming that it is the 5053g.Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Panerai Screensaver
Anyone want a Panerai screensaver? Just click on the link and knock yourself out:.panerai/en-us/quickli...aver-II-EN-WATI know a lot of folk are wary of clicking on links, and rightly so, but if you're unsure and want to exercise a bit of caution, I found the link on the OP official Facebook page, post dated 21st December. Check it out
The 43mm dial...it's pretty good.
Finally took the plunge and bought a Seadweller 43mm, to replace the SD4000 I sold just before they were discontinued. I was a bit wary given the increased size. But it works for me, and I do prefer this model. What strikes me is how the extra size of the dial creates more space, so it seems less cluttered than the 40mm model. Add the red writing and it just becomes a more interesting watch.Which I never expected or noticed from photos.
