SIHH Sneak Preview: Baume & Mercier’s New Clifton Men’s Collection
Baume & Mercier has announced it will be launching a new line of men’s watches, called Clifton, at the SIHH watch fair in Geneva this coming January. We’ve obtained some info and photos of some of the new watches, whose design is inspired by a vintage 1950s Baume & Mercier watch. The Clifton collection is, according to Baume & Mercier, an evolution of the brand’s old Classima line. The watches have round cases and a look the company calls “contemporary and modern,” which includes a distinctive double-beveled design for the case. The watches are available with either stainless steel or 18k rose gold cases and alligator leather straps. Prices for the models will range from $2,700 to $6,300; Baume & Mercier says they will be in stores (and available online) in April 2013.Below are photos of the three models for which the brand has released information. The two steel-case models (Ref. MOA 10052 with satin-finished silver-colored dial and Ref. MO
Pre Owned ROO "H" Series (Old Model) or Pre Owned "i" Series (New Model)
Guys,In order to avoid huge depreciation, I prefer to go pre owned...Which one would you recommend? Pre owned ROO H (Old Model, year 2013) series or Pre Owned ROO i series (New Model, year 2015)...both in mint condition....Price difference is about USD 3.5K....Thanks in advance for your advice...Regards,
My SuperOcean
I have had this watch for a couple years but for most of 2009 it sat on the winder while I wore my new Sub Date. Lately however, this watch has been getting more wrist time and I really like it!Vince
Interesting article
I came across an interesting article on ablogtowatch. We are always talking about how soft the market is for most Pateks since there is too much supply. Most of the article is what we already know but nonetheless, interesting. What are your thoughts? .ablogtowatch/study-co...ess-inventory/
Great Saturday for an....INCOMING!
Hello TRF...I stopped by my local Midwest AD this morning and this little gem was calling my name. She'll make a great companion to my WG BLRO. The AD had multiple SS sport models, including a BLNR, Sub date & no date. For what it's worth, I left the store with all stickers in tact. Thanks for reading!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
