Seiko x Giugiaro SCED035 ��Ripley�� Review
Having a watch associated with a famous film character is a sure way to concrete its place in history. Obviously the most famous example being James Bond and his Rolex Submariner, Omega Seamasters and a plethora of others that rode the character's coat tails to higher sales. Well, in the history of cult classics there is perhaps no watch that is more interesting, or associated with a cooler character than the Seiko x Giugiaro watch worn by Ripley in James Cameron's amazing horror/action film from 1986, Aliens.Now, I could probably write a few thousand words on that film as well as the other in the Aliens series, as I am a huge fan and have seen them all several times to dozens of time. Yes, I even am a fan of Alien: Resurrection, which was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (and written by Joss Whedon), who is better known for films like Amelie. I also love H.R. Omega Speedmaster Date NATO
Just purchased a nato for my 3511.50. I live the detailed omega bracelet but I thought this would look kinda neat for a change. Took the pic in the PM so the date is in the process of changing.

How about a base with a tobacco dial?
I have long wanted to add a 55 to the collection. BBQ once said in every collection.. there is always room for a titanium Pam! The combination of a brown tobacco dial and fat sausage numbers are just great in a titanium case. Base is indeed ace... I like it!Here is a quick shot!

Manual winding function Date? Exists?
All Panerai watches with the function Date that gives the number of each day are automatic? Or is there any manual movement?

Dear Rolex, please do not .....
...do away with the line of red text at Basel this year for the See Dweller. Whilst financially it would make a lot of us quite happy, it would be a real shame to remove one of the features that make this reference so special Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
