Any ♥ for the Triple date Speedy?
Dial seem a bit busy but the more I look at it the more I'm getting to like it. There seems to be several combinations but the black/white dial and hands are what I'm looking at. Pre-owned ones are attractive price wise which is also peaking my interest. Any thoughts good or bad I'd love to hear them?
Omega Speedmaster With a chocolate Dial.
Posted this in another forum.NICE!!!!! The pics dont do it justice, A friend of mine has one and it looks GREAT, brown belt/shoes and that watch on a brown strap = SHARP look. And only for 2000 USD, watch is over 41MM. Really beats the Longines Sport collection both in looks and value! My AD doesnt have it and cant find it online, would jump on this like nobodies buissness.
5712 in stainless or white gold??
Hey guys,New to the forum. I'll post an introduction and pics soon. I've searched and read a number of old threads, but wanted some fresh and straight opinions on 5172 in stainless vs white gold.I have a Rolex Yachtmaster ss/platinum and a 5196r already. I love Patek so much that I wanted more of a daily driver from the brand. I love the complications of the 5712 and also the 240 movement with the 22k micro rotor. I'm on the wait list for the SS, but I have the immediate opportunity to buy the white gold version. As you know, wait list is (as I was told) is at least 18 months (from the PP salon in London). The SS seems to be the most sought after. Is it the more desirable piece, or is it due to price? I can always buy the 5712g now and trade out of it when my SS arrives. I have held both pieces next to each other as I also wanted to compare dial color and weight of each. The white gold has a nice heft to it.My conundrum is; I like the discreet, yet special nature of having a

What does your watch mean to you?
I know to many of us our watches are a hobby. We enjoy collecting them and admiring them on our wrist. But for me that all changed about 2 years ago. I actually came down with a life changing illness. For about a year things looked terrible, didn't know if I would ever go back to work again etc. But I worked hard and I struggled. I eventually bounced back and I can truly say that I am a different person for it. Then about one year ago I decided to get knee surgery since I had hit all my deductibles. It was a minor surgery that I have put off for years, but I realized that I want to enjoy every minute of my life from now on. To commemorate that I wanted something special as well. I ended up buying my first Rolex. I have always wanted a Milgauss, especially since I am an engineer. It was one of those things that I always wanted but was not on the front burner. But I after I came back from my illness I realized that life is short. I have to enjoy it within moderation. I can
