Anyone have or seen a Superocean 44 'Polished'
I've been thinking about buying another watch for a while and have narrowed it down to a Superocean 44 or 42.I wanted something a bit different from what I already have and really liked the polished case & bracelet on the SO 42.On the Breitling web site I see the SO 44 can be ordered with a polished case & bracelet but have never seen one in any jewellers or on any forums.Does anyone have one or have any pictures? Are they 'special order' only? If so, does it carry a price premium & what would the lead time be? Are they available in the UK?Sorry for all the questions & thanks in advance for any replies.Dan.

PAM 233 or 111
So this an oranges to apples comparison, but which would you choose? Either option would be preowned.I have a few watches with GMT complications and a few with no date today. The main thing attracting me with the 233 is the Superdome and I love GMTs, but I love the simplicity of the 111. Oh yeah and the 111 is half the price too. Rolex Gold Compositions?
We all know Rolex alloys there own Gold at there own foundry. All I see for the most part is 18K Gold which is 75% gold and 25% mixed/alloyed with something else. I know its supposed to be a secret but with all of the guys on here I am sure someone somewhere has heard some numbers on what Rolex uses. So Inquiring minds gotta know. Any mixologists in here? I recently acquired my first ever White PM Rolex. At times it looks like Chrome plating. Other times I see Yellowish tints on the polished center links. Then at times it looks like Titanium. I assume they use Platinum/Palladium only with the gold since it isnt plated with rhodium?
