Vittorium AT Watches
So recently, I am on the phone with a particularly enthusiastic Italian man who is telling me about Vittorium. He speaks to me like Vittorium is his child - no his family name - in a particularly enthusiastic manner that only Italians can seem to have mastered. Vittorium is a brand that until recently was totally unknown to me. Which makes sense as there isn't a lot of advertising and more or less little presence so far in the US. Vittorium has been around for a long time actually - but only recently started to brand their own watches - prior to such being a supplier for other brands. So the Swiss brand explain by the Italian brand has my attention. And who better to convey the qualities of the watches - which themselves have an undeniably Mediterranean style to them.As almost totally Swiss made watches, the pieces have a good prices. Right now I would like to discuss their collection of watches known as the AT. The AT is segmented into four versions with a number of color combinations
Ceramic Diver pic request + other questions
I am in the market for a used Ceramic Diver and previously posted a question about the relative comfort of the Ceramic vs SS Diver. I owned a SS Diver an liked it a lot but never loved it, however I am convinced I will love the Ceramic version It would really be helpful to see some side-by-side pics of the Ceramic and SS Divers, on or off the wrist. Can anyone help me by posting some?A few other questions. Is it true that the Ceramic Diver was only sold through AP boutiques and not ADs?Will the ROO Rubberclad tapered strap and buckle fit the Diver case and plots?I know there is no right answer to this but ... does anyone think a Diver is too much watch or too out of place as a daily watch in a business casual (i.e. no suit) environment? I love the watch but sometimes wonder if wearing a hulking block of SS or Ceramic that is designed for deep ocean exploration day to day at a desk and around the house is a bit of a poseur move.like driving a Zonda in downtown London (although I wish I
Finally picked up the new toy / Australian tourism
My new AP, appreciate very mainstream and hardly the top end of the AP world, but it is my first and I really like it, glad I was not talked out of it by talk of it being too big on a wrist, my 7.5in and the 15400 look like they were made for each other. Many thanks to Mitch at the Hourglass in Sydney, a great deal, great service and a man who respects TRF big time.FYI Just as special as the AP is the journey from my home in Balmain by Ferry to the city to pick up the watch, a great day all round, my wife is now wearing my Daytona which was re-sized for her by Mitch as well. Sunny Sydney day, for those that have never visited our amazing city hopefully this is the enabler photos to get you to come (30c / 85f and such blue skies), apparently our architecture is quite well known as well.OK so the downside is we do have the occasional mosquito which has impacted the wrist shot a little!!!
A few models have been increased...
Panerai have increased the price in some models but not all the list. I have had the list of them but I lost it, someone has it? One of the models that I remember was the 312 and the others were not traditional but I think the most sophisticated. Thanks guys
ROLEX in FIJI
