H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time Watch
Looking to combine something as practical as a two time zone watch with something as delicate and prestigious as a tourbillon? Well, Swiss H. Moser & Cie has the watch for you, with the lovely looking new H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time. The watch also happens to feature the first tourbillon-based movement offered by H. Moser & Cie, and it contains dual hairsprings along with some other interesting features that I will discuss below. In short, H. Moser & Cie presents a tourbillon watch potentially capable of overcoming the accuracy issues inherent in many tourbillon watches. For those who understand tourbillons, this is a clear irony. From a design perspective, the H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time very much fits into the larger H. Moser & Cie collection when it comes to aesthetics and simplicity. Looking deeper, you see 1960s watch design as well as Bauhaus influence. In many ways, the design DNA of H. Moser & Cie is one very successf
Seamasters
Omega Seamasters are synonimous with dive watch, but it seems that finally omega is going back to its roots with the aqua terra range, where they were more dress type watches, which were waterproof. I think that at the moment seamasters are the most affordable of vintage omegas, and if you look, you can pick up all original nice omega seamasters for $200-300.here is an early 1950's one which i picked up from a friend..cost slightly more than that estimate.. buyt not too much more..here are my other semasters..when you think that these cost less than what fake omegas are bringing.. you wonder why anyone would buy a fake omega / rolex.. when you can get a real vintage omega for $$$$ less.
Saw this from a friend's blog
This is just amazing. Can't believe she can get her hands on thisimage.jpg
Planning for the next crown
Hey all, need some opinionsCurrently I have 1) 1140602) 116710 ( bought it to be my boy s growing up watch)Recently I was blessed with the arrival of my little girl hence I am thinking of acquiring another crownBeen thinking of 1) hulk 2) 116613LNI really love the submariner range and I am thinking of retiring the 114060 for my Daughter. My mind is on the TT but it will be harder to wear on a daily basis. But the 116613LN has always been a grail ( not bluesy, I don't know why but it just don't sing to me) I really like the classic black and gold look. The hulk is growing on me as it reminds me of my little girl now hahaha she is a little fighter! But the price is atrocious ( talking of preowned here, almost the same price of the TT)no Batman please and no Daytona ( doesn't sing to me too)
16223 or 116223 Need Help! Your thoughts PLEASE
I am considering the purchase of a pre-owned two tone Datejust, either a late 90's 16223 or an early 116223 with fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet and white stick dial, full set. I pretty well know the differences in the two watches. I would appreciate some of your thoughts on the two choices. Price is not a big difference. What about the polished lugs on the newer style, that is one concern.
