Whether it's in or on a watch, art isn't just for the watchmaking elite as proven by Swatch with this model designed by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos for the Biennale di Venezia (56th international art exhibition). The dial on the numbered limited edition Lookseasy (999 available) is adorned by gilded arabesques. Joana Vasconcelos used filigree, an age-old goldsmithery technique, to create an Oriental floral design on the original model which was then used by artisans to make the rest of the pieces. Three gold baton-shape hands lie discreetly on the metal lace whose PVD-coated gold wires are delicately welded together. The hands track the hours, minutes and seconds brought to life by a quartz movement inside the glossy black plastic 41mm case. recommendation for colt auto service !
recommendations for Breitling service ?? i have a local AD but was wondering if there is a less expensive option for a service . i got myself one and gave my bother a colt auto back in 2002 as a gift and in 2004 i had to have a new crown and tube put in his and just last week he said nothing happens when he pulls out the crown to set time , it just spins and no hands move . not sure if it will wind in the wind position or not ,but obviously needs to be opened up so a service is in order. i had a crystal put in mine a month ago and it was $300 at the AD So i am scared to hear what a full service will cost ! this watch was only 1550.00 new in 02 !

Panerai & Jomashop Experiences?
New to the forum but a long time lover of Panerai. Purchased my 441 ceramica from an AD this summer and had a great experience but it's hard to not have some of the discounts on there capture your attention.Has anyone had experience with buying Panerai on there? Namely, do they include all the papers with the box? Want to try something PAM that's simple and hand wound; with 25-30% & no tax it's very tempting.What about getting your watch serviced at a later date? I'm fine with there being no warranty. Can Panerai refuse service just because it's a grey market watch?
