Rado D-Star Basel Special 2011 Watch
Things are getting a bit weird when brands start making limited edition timepieces for Baselworld. That would be like auto makers producing special cars to debut at auto shows, that are done in honor of those auto shows. It starts to turn into a cyclical argument. This piece is the new Rado D-Star. In addition to be being a "Basel Special" piece, it is also done in honor of the classic Rado Diastar."Diastar" has been hipped down to "D-Star," which is supposed to make the collection sound more cool. The slightly oval, oblong case is much like the original, but the sporty dial and subtle nature of the watch are a modern treat. In fact, this is probably an easy watch to brush off at first glance as being nothing special. Wear it on the wrist for a while and a design like this will quickly grow on you. The case is in black ceramicin pure Rado style. Here done in a matte finish. The case is 42mm wide and water resistant to 100 meters. On the dial you have a simple, elegant design with a mini
Vintage Watch Shopping In Paris: Three Must-See Places To Visit (And A Ton Of Pictures)
You have probably heard Parisian monuments and restaurants celebrated many times before, but I bet you are much less aware of the amazing vintage watches that you can find in some shops in the city. Therefore, I wish to take you on a special tour of my hometown. Get ready for an unusual travel guide to Paris, solely dedicated to vintage watches. Fair warning, you might see a good number of dreamy watches. Horlogerie Antoine De Macedo, A Big And Beautiful Store 1 OF 16 In between the Luxembourg garden and the Church Saint Sulpice, you will find this incredible place: on display there is a freaking vintage Rolex Sea-Dweller – the original reference 1665 – immerged in a fish tank, exactly how the first waterproof Rolexes were initially marketed. The sight is pretty memorable, but the rest of the vintage watches should not be overlooked; you can find dressy Vacherons, sporty Heuers, much-coveted Universal Geneves, and more. There is a whole stand dedi
RG44 Finally Back From the SPA!!!
My RG44 finally came back from the APSC today. I felt so empty without it. It took longer than I thought it would. 8 weeks to be exact. However, it came back looking brand new! They also sent me this watch case. I thought I read somewhere that they stopped doing that, but was pleasantly surprised to get it. So excited to have it back on the wrist.
White Daytona C
Just got it in. When I first got my Daytona I was convinced the black was the way to go. Now, I'm not so sure. White looks great!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
