Vacheron Constantin’s Quai de l'Ile collection offers contemporary design and a unique opportunity for owners to create their own distinctive example via a series of personalization options. For 2011, a new Retrograde Annual Calendar joins the collection, powered by the new Vacheron Constantin Calibre 2460 QRA automatic movement. Available in pink or white gold, or both if the customer desires, the 43mm case houses a new movement designed, developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin, and bearing the Hallmark of Geneva. The 326-part Calibre 2460 QRA drives the hours, minutes and small seconds at 9 o'clock, as well as the annual calendar with retrograde date display, months and a high-precision moon-phase indication requiring correction once every 122 years. Your path to AP...
I'm curious what all of your paths to owning AP were. Mine were kind of backwards, as I had met a certain gentleman with extreme knowledge of swiss watches, and I am a specialist in another type of craftsmanship, antique Japanese swords and consult on behalf of collectors. We discussed the similarities between the two (differences being obvious, as one was meant to kill, and one was meant to find out how much time you had to kill) and I learned at the time about there existing a whole other world of swiss watches other than Rolex.Anyway this discussion inserted AP into my brain as something I'd have one day if I ever owned a fine timepiece (last item was some watch I found at 10 years old with a highly luminous digital dial... the kind that ... kills you I guess!). I lost it. And I have a Seiko given to me by my staff that went into a drawer of keepsakes and was never worn.Finally bought my ROO this year after finding the forum here and bouncing some questions around. Seamaster Part Number Help
Hey guys, just picked up the PO Titanium 42mm on a bracelet (ref. 232.90.42.21.03.001) and wanted to get the rubber strap and the titanium clasp from ref. 232.92.42.21.03.001 so I can change up the look once in a while. I've been trying to hunt down the part numbers so I can order from Ofrei since they'll probably come in way cheaper than the boutique but have had very little luck. Anyone have any suggestions on how I would be able to look these up? Tried going to the boutique, they offered to order them for me but wouldn't give me the part numbers. Thanks for the help.
