Third Time's a Hat Trick (*Pics Heavy*)
Since our first GTG six months ago in March 2014, it was the third time this small group of like-minded AP enthusiasts get together for yet another fun day. This time round, we chose the famed Marina Bay Sands (MBS) as our outing location for an obvious reason: a new AP boutique had just been opened for business a week earlier! An appointment was made with AP to visit the new playground! Before the boutique visit, the group settled at a cozy corner of a local coffee joint called Toast Box to catch up with each other. It was a gathering of not only AP watches, but a few other interesting and respectable collections from buddies who are self-proclaimed watch nuts! A galore of nice timepieces were there for generous sharing and admiration. Simple white gold Calatrava
Guys,I had a pic of Putin with a watch I believe what a WG Calatrava but lost it - was trying to identify the ref. Long story short, am looking for my first WG Calatrava that would be a classic model (no longer in production) with perhaps a date function but no subdials. Any ideas on references? A size 36-38mm would be fine. 5119G from the current collection is quite nice but a bit too fancy in my opinion for work use.I have a 5712 in steel and a 5196J.Thanks.

Hello all,A great visit today to my Patek AD. The great news first: My wonderful wife got her first Patek today. She looked at several and as I would have guessed she picked the 5068R Aquanaut with beautiful diamond bezel. She is so excited and now a member of the Patek family...Big congrats to her and well deserved! I also was lucky enough to get a stunning pair of RG Cufflinks. They are so elegant and Patek classy! I also have attached a few shots I took of some Patek goodies. Cheers all and have a great weekend!
