Introducing: The Radiomir 1940 Automatic In 42 MM, And Three Other New Releases From Panerai
Panerai came storming out of the gates at Watches & Wonders 2015 in Hong Kong. Not only did it release a long awaited piece in a slimmer, more constrained size while upgrading its hardware, but it also upgraded a few other models in its Radiomir lineup – be they simple timekeeping pieces or haute complications. The Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic C 42 MM (PAM 620) This watch has been anticipated for some time. In a sense, it may even have been overdue given the seemingly simple combination of precursory features that consumers had petitioned for after seeing them individually scattered among other releases. We saw a great 1940 Radiomir in the PAM00512 back in 2013, which measured 42 mm and sported the in-house manual P.999 with 60-hour reserve.Last year, when the 1940 went automatic, the size went up to 45 mm – and when the price decreased to [a negotiable] four figures, the diameter didn't follow. Any Constellation fans around here?
From what I gathered on the Internets, the model may not be the most popular offering from Omega. Yet, I happen to like it very much. At 38mm it sits perfectly on my wrist and I may consider it at some point of time. What do current owners have to say?
Patek 5060
Been offered one of these for about 7500 euro, which I think is a bit steep. What I can't get to know is that is this watch 35mm or 37mm? Seller claims 37mm, but the net claims 35mm, although some web pages does claim 37mm. Supposedly quite the limited production run of about 1000?No see-trough case back, but I guess it could be added?
Explorer 2 stopped working!?
Dear friends I would like your suggestion pl. My explorer 2 which I bought in Dec 2015 from iconic watches, Blackburn,UK stopped working suddenly today. I tried winding it completely but still not working. There was no fall or bang on the watch what I could recollect. I am really worried. The watch is still under warranty period (5 years). I am the 2nd owner of this watch though all the stickers were intact when I purchased the watch. It has Portugal dealer stamp on it. I have all the warranty card and box. How do I go about pl? Should I contact iconic watches? Or Rolex UK? I value your suggestions and guidance. Thank you. Kind regardsSent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
