Gronefeld Parallax 1912 Tourbillon Watch
Thus far, the independent Dutch watch brand of Gronefeld had two distinctly different watches in their portfolio: their debut piece from 2008, which is a highly complicated and rather crazy-looking minute repeater tourbillon, and the One Hertz?from 2010, which thanks to its unique design dead-beat seconds hand procured the attention of watch enthusiasts.?But that was four years ago, and so it was just about time that they showed us a new piece, something that illustrated what direction the brand has been taking. The answer to that question was revealed at Baselworld 2014 in the form of the Parallax Tourbillon, a novelty that carries on some trademark Gronefeld design cues and introduces us the Gronefeld brothers' idea of the perfect tourbillon. The centerpiece of this novelty is indeed the dial and the large flying tourbillon, as highlighted in a substantially sized, silver-outlined opening at the 7 o'clock position. The dial is cut from solid silver and sports polished beveled edges an
Breitling Navitimer Two Tone Blue Face
Anyone have pics of this watch? I have an old 1990's catalog that depicts it but my Googling skills must be quite poor because I cannot find images of this watch.Any suggestions are appreciated. I visit a couple watch forums and the Breitling sections are somewhat sparsely populated. Thanks

My New Sub
As a working stiff, my Sub was a long time coming! Bought from a local jewelry store for $6800 OTD. Traded my 84 SS datejust for 2k, so final price was $4800. It is a 99 A serial & came with the box all the books and paperwork. It also had a nice bonus of the hang tags and anchor. Did I pay to much? And did I get enough for my DJ? Love my new watch Love my new watch!!!
First time buyer
I'd like your thoughts on my experience (so far). Let me start by saying I do not consider myself a collector and have never before today spent over $500 on a watch.I really hope I'm not getting screwed. I just purchased my first Rolex today. A Oyster Perpetual 36mm with a Red Grape dial. After doing a lot of research online for sellers with positive ratings I came across a company called Avi & Co New York. They are a seller on Crono24 with great reviews and have excellent reviews across Yelp. They also have a physical store in New York.As I wait for my watch to be shipped and delivered I am having some buyers remorse anxiety of buying from an unauthorized dealer. The watch sales retail from and authorized dealer for $5,400.00 but Avi & Co sold it for $4,399.00 for credit card or $4,269.00 tax free with shipping included (Brand New, never worn, manufacturer plastic still attached. The seller contacted me today and confirmed he received my wire payment and got my shipping inform
