Sarpaneva Korona Moonshine Watch
Helsinki, Finland. Not the typical place for watch makers, but it is where the wild Stepan Sarpaneva calls home and creates his vividly interesting timepieces creations. Playing with his popular moon face, Stepan creates a new watch that utterly features the now popularized serious looking artful lunar gaze. Called the Korona Moonshine, the watch tells the time via a single rotating disc that moves around the periphery of the dial.You read the time in the lower region of the dial where a window opens up to reveal the moving disc. Right at the 6 o'clock position is a small arrow that is used in conjunction with indicators on the disc to tell the time. It isn't the most precise way to tell the time, but the trade-off might be worth it to have this "face" on your wrist.The time telling disc itself is covered in lume for night viewing. New Member waiting on 5522A
Hello-Decided to join the forum because it seems there are a lot of other watch nuts like me around here...Just wanted to hear from anyone that has or is waiting on a 5522A. I was curious on how others experiences were from contacting their AD initially about this piece all the way until it was delivered to those who have them already. My dealer has told me I should get one but I get a little nervous as time goes on. Apparently as of now they have not received even one yet. I wondered if the whole allotment shows up at the same time?

Tried on a few Patek Philppe Watches today.
Hi Guys,I tried on a few Patek Philppe watches when I was at the AD today. Wow they make a fine watch.It was not busy at all so the sales person was able to let me handle a 5101P 10 Day Tourbillon it was a bit out of my price range at 380K (CAD).I like the 5119 Calatrave model. It was going for only 18K. How much does this model sell for in the USA? Same price or much cheeper?Maybe someday for now I will stick with Rolex.Take Care,Eric
