Graham Chronofighter Oversize Titanium SAS Watch Is Big, Contradictory, Camouflaged
People go crazy over Graham watches. Especially the Chronofighter series. The trendy English watch maker has some very appealing designs, and I can personally attest to the fact that the build quality of these watches is very good. The Chronofighter series of watch is typified by a unique chronograph pusher system, and apparently is easier to use. It is easier to put, being trigger like, which helps as they are on the left side. The crown has a pusher built in to it, which is depressed by the trigger. The top pusher is the reset button for the chronograph, but you knew that because it says so on the watch. This particular model is the "Chronofighter Oversize Titanium SAS." You can ignore the oversize part. I hate use of the term. See my article on "oversized" here. The watch is 47mm wide. Oversized would imply it was 47 inches wide. That actually would be oversized. The fact that it has "titanium" in the name, would imply that it is titanium, which it is. A trait that makes this watch o
The HODINKEE Shop Now Carries Watch Winders, Strap Changing Tools C Plus Ten New Calfskin Straps All
Over at the HODINKEE Shop we’ve been expanding our repertoire, and today we’re proud to announce that we are now carrying watch winders and strap changing tools. In addition, we’ve stocked some killer single-layer calfskin straps in 10 colors and two sizes, as well as two new leather travel rolls. See below for full details. Watch Winders We’ve tried a lot of winders, but we keep coming back to Swiss Kubik. They are among the most quality winders we’ve encountered, with several beautiful finishes and nearly silent winding. Now in the HODINKEE Shop, we have five Swiss Kubik winders available: 1 OF 19 The Startbox is the most affordable winder option at $460, and features a sleek black finish. 2 OF 19 The Anodized Silver winder features a modern silver finish, and is available for $795. 3 OF 19 The Wenge Wood finish is one of our favorites, featuring a rustic wood finish. Size strap for a Seamaster
I'm considering putting my Seamaster on a bund strap. I don't really know what size the space between the lugs are so I can buy a perfectly pitted strap. Does anyone know?
does the 116610LNs abundance ever get to you?
I'm going to be getting a black submariner date when I graduate in a few months (BBA in finance from an accredited NYC school) and as I walk through midtown, I see everyone else has one too. Even my dad has the same watch. I can't help but think when I start work in the field, many people I'll work with will also have the same watch. Is this conventional thinking for the first time rolex owner? However, I assume that once I get it, I won't really care Can anyone who wears a 116610LN chime in? :)
