Interview With Zenith Watches Ambassador Johan Ernst Nilson
Zenith watches really get around - especially on the wrist of Johan Ernst Nilson. A Zenith brand ambassador, Nilson is a modern day explorer who has been going on "expeditions" for about 20 years. Now in his early 40s, Nilson is in the middle of a serious journey called the Pole2Pole adventure. The trip is taking Johan from the North Pole all the way to the South Pole, and will be done mostly via kayak and bicycle.Nilson travels for personal and physical exploration. His trips teach himself and others about personal empowerment and the power of a "can do" attitude. Nilson has authored books on the subject as well as participated as a motivational lecturer. His heart is always in the road pushing himself further and trying to see new places. Originally from Sweden, Nilson speaks fondly of his venturing with a credible, weathered look.I sat down with Nilson to discuss the Pole2Pole trip, his trials and tribulations, as well as what it is like to do what he does. As a Zenith brand ambassa
15300 - date won't advance easily via crown
I sent my RO in to Clearwater about a year ago. I could have sworn I was told this was a known issue. The watch was repaired / fully serviced / and I read my third year warranty.Now...the issue has returned. I can advance the date by setting the time and with effort / I.e. Pulling the crown in and out advance the date. The person at CS had no knowledge of a known issue. Problem now is they are closed 12/21-1/4...I'll have to wait until Jan to send it in or it will just sit.Has a into e else had this problem??Thanks
NEW addition.....AP Grand Prix..

Need Information on Breitling Watch
Hello! I am new to this forum, and i was hoping someone on here would be able to help me out. My grandfather just died and one of the things he left me is this watch. I am going to include pictures so that hopefully someone can identify it and tell me a bit more about it. The strap is broken, so if possible information about how to get that fixed would help. If the watch is fake, can someone also tell me if it is actually a fake, because i have no idea how to tell.PS. Since the watch is from my grandfather, i am not looking to sell it. Information on how much the watch is worth is helpful, but be aware that i am not going to sell it. Thanks!!Multiple ways to get to the pictures!img504.imageshack.us/g/dsc00450w.jpg/yfrog/e0dsc00450wjx
Decisions... Decisions...
So I, serendipitously, managed to get these two pieces today. The BLNR was the plan but the Blue Dial Royal Oak 15450 came up and I couldn't pass it up. Both BNIB.Now I can only keep one and, yes obviously, the RO is more expensive.I briefly owned a silver dial 15450 and while I really enjoyed it, I didn't LOVE it.I really though that the BLNR would be the one out of these two but the moment I opened the 15450 and saw that blue dial it was love at first sight. After some thinking, I made the decision to keep the BLNR (I've owned that watch 3 times now and keep coming back to it!) and packed up the 15450.But now, hours later, I still love the BLNR just as much as ever but I can't stop thinking about that blue dial...What do you guys think? In terms of long term ownership, value, wearability, robustness etc...? Would love to hear your thoughts!Help me TRF... you're my only hope!
