7.5 in wrist: 15202
Would a 15202 wear too small on a 7.5 inch wrist?I found the 15400 (silver) to wear a touch big...
Coffee table Books on Patek
I am in the midst of building a nice little library of books covering those watches owned in past or present. One notable absentee is a PP Nautilus or PP Steel watches. In keeping with their watch namesakes they seem to cost a fortune and On the basis It will be an occasional read it's not worth the money.I keep looking on eBay but have drawn blanks. Has anyone out there got a book they may be looking to sell or have tips were to look.
An often overlooked reference
Most of the attention seems to go to the annual calendar and nautilus... So here is my favorite reference.
Patek Philippe Naviquartz
Would like to share my first Patek Philippe timepiece here.Patek Philippe. Genve.Patek Philippe Naviquartz Chronometer, Ref : E1200, Cal. 33 with quartz standardization marina electronic chronometer with sweep centre seconds in original mahogany box. Manufactured in the late 1960s. In black dial, inner Arabic numerals, Arabic seconds indication to the outer raised chapter ring, in black painted cast metal case with chromium plated bezel. The original purpose of any chronometer is to be used in celestial navigation. In conjunction with a sextant and star chart a captain or sailor would measure the degrees that a known star is above the horizon (or it's Zenith) at a given time and date and get a position on the ocean. A minute error in measure of degrees or time will equate to many nautical miles of position error so accurate time is essential.
Diving with the PAM25 (Pic heavy)
I was lucky to have taken a quick weekend live aboard trip to the Gulf of Thailand and here are some pics, including a couple of shots of the PAM 25, which performed superbly. Clearly I'm not a pro and I only have a small point and shoot camera, but I love taking pics. I usually dive with the Sub or the SD, but the PAM looked like it wanted to get wet this time.Enjoy!!
