Showing at WatchTime New York 2015: New Watches from Mhle and MeisterSinger
We’re just a few days away from the kickoff of America’s largest luxury watch show, WatchTime New York, at Manhattan’s Gotham Hall on October 23-24 (Click here for event details and to purchase tickets). More than 20 watch brands will be displaying new timepieces, including two distinctive boutique brands from Germany, Mhle Glashtte and MeisterSinger. The highlight watch for family-owned Muhle is the new Robert Mhle Auf/Ab, which adds a new complication to the brand’s collection. It is really simple actually, and nifty. The watch case itself is attached via a vertically gliding fastener to a plate. The plate contains the lugs to which the bracelet is attached. In the event of shock, the watch case is able to independently move a little bit up and down. It's just a cool little system to have. The design of the watch is a combination of tool shed tech and traditional diver watch. From a distance the appearance of the DS 2000 GMT is of a strong looking diving watch. Upon closer inspection you realize all the little features that make the Formex unique. The full
Rubber strap - AP vs AP Bands?
I want to buy a rubber strap for my 42mm ROC. I have worn the genuine AP rubber strap on my Rubberclad but would like to hear from people that have tried the AP Bands version. Is it inferior or essentially the same? Comfort is my main priority.
