Introducing: The Slim d'Hermes Limited Edition With Enamel Dial (Live Pics, Details, Pricing)
A surprise hit of the 2015 Baselworld show was the Slim d'Hermes watch, an absolutely stunning modern dress watch from Hermes that features an in-house caliber and downright beautiful facade – not to mention an elegant profile. We reviewed it right here, and our resident Frenchman Louis found it to be positively charming. This year, the watch returns in new dial colors but also in a 100 piece limited edition featuring a three-layer grand feu enamel dial that is absolutely remarkable. 1 OF 9 Slim d'Hermes Grand Feu Email The Slim d'Hermes Grand Feu Email is identical to the existing Slim d'Hermes C the same 39.5 mm case, the same caliber H1950 with micro-rotor and 42-hour power reserve, and the same thin case. Bracelet and case polishing for speedy pro in Toronto?
heres the deal. I recently purchased a used moonwatch and my usual watchmaker opened it up and mechanicals are all in great condition. Previous owner didn't know service history as he was 2nd owner and only had the watch for about a year, so I was quite happy hearing this. Now being a 8-9 year old watch the bracelet needs a good polish as a couple of links look like they were perhaps introduced to the concrete pavement in a fall. So because I only want the bracelet polished anyone know a omega watchmaker in the greater Toronto area that can give the speedy bracelet a once over. Due to the mix of brush and polish on the bracelet I am guessing a special technique might be involved for those tiny strips of polished metal in the bracelet Thanks in advance

Question for the SD 16600 lovers......
I'm currently looking at two seadwellers for sale, model 16600. Both are A serial numbers, one is a Swiss only dial and one is a Swiss made dial. I just want to be sure that the inserts are original on both. The Swiss only Dial has a pointed 4 insert, which is different than all A-serial pieces I have seen. They all seem to come with a flat 4 insert, which is the insert that is on the Swiss made piece for sale. I prefer the Swiss only watch because it is a complete set, but I'm concerned that it may be a service insert. Sorry I can't post any pictures as both watches are currently for sale and I don't want to violate the sellers in any way. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
How does your AD deal with issues?
So I purchased a second watch recently from an AD, and it wasn't to my expectations (crown appeared not to always engage position 2 or 3, date seemed to change at 2am intermittently). If you purchased a new watch and it had issues from new, would you expect your AD to replace or refund, or offer a repair in the first couple of days of ownership?1. Would you expect a replacement if available2. Would you expect a refund3. Would you be happy with a repair
