Jack Heuer's appointment as CEO of Heuer guided the launch of the Autavia in 1962 and the Carrera in 1963. Omega's Speedmaster was among the first to the game, introduced at the tail end of the Fifties. But the chronograph was no new invention; seen as early as 1816 in Louis Moinet's astronomical pocket watch, and in smaller wristwatch form at the beginning of the 20th century, the chronograph was old news. The C1 was a case of 44 mm with a very rugged look. The rubber under the monitoring allows to absorb shocks and make shows more robust. There is a Sapphire thick 3.30 mm and a Crown of rubber, composite and steel. It has a Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute.

A year ago, I traded for my Liquidmetal and bought a TT GMTIIc:After spending six weeks at RSC-Dallas, the GMTIIc soon departed the collection and was eventually replaced by a GMT Master II 16710.But the LM is still around and continues to grow fonder in my heart:The cal 2500C movement has been rock solid with awesome accuracy. The 5726-1A
The more I look into Patek pieces, the more I think that if one day I will get a buddy for my 5712-1A, the more I think it whould be a 5726 but with grey dial and bracelet not strap, of course there is a big price difference between bracelet and strap version, but I really love the bracelet for all Nautilus models.I know some don't like it very much, Ken for example but I personally love this model, the complications are very useful, the AC is a great one to have, love the moon phase, even if the use is very limited except if you are a werewolf, highly unlikely IMO, like the sweep seconds, the 24hrs is cool also.Since I can't upload pics, go figure why, here is the link to the 5726 page on the Patek site..patek/contents/defaul...26_1A_001.htmlDon't hesitate to post pics of your 5726's, whatever the version, and tell us what you like/dislike about thos model.Thanks guys

Why Rolex will never make the Pepsi in SS ever again!
As I read the forum I always see comments on Rolex bringing the Pepsi bezel GMT back but in SS, and how many people would buy it if that ever came to pass. Well sorry to let you all know, but Rolex will never make a SS BLRO due to the fact that once the watch was made in a PM, Rolex eliminates the thought of the watch in SS, they would look to close to the same watch. So if in fact Rolex is discontinuing the current WG BLRO, sorry to say but we've seen the last of the Pepsi GMT.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
