Latest find Breitling stopwatch
Dear Members,I found this in a draw after a very long time I had forgotten I had it as I purchased it more than forty years ago.I am thinking about sending to Breitling to see if they can restore it your views and comments are welcomeRegardsWalter Wharton
Took this one out of the vault
unbelievable but this one sat in the bank vault for several monthsstill imo one of the best Patek ever made but the last several months I wore other watches.Untill yesterday I realized this beauty needed some wrist time :-)It is ofcourse personal choice but I looked at many high end chronographs in the past and not one Breguet, VC, Lange, or whatever even comes close
Perfect 3 watches collection
What would be your perfect 3 watches collection? 1. The day watch: the watch that suits your occupation. 2. Dress-down timepiece: worn everywhere from the beach to the ski slopes or for pottering around in the garden. 3. The dress watch : A watch geared for special occasions and big nights out. Or if you think a collection should have more than three, comment please!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
DJII. Love it or hate it
New to the Rolex world and was scanning the FS threads. I saw a DJ II ref 116300 rhodium dial with blue arabics. I thought it was a real eye catcher. I started to do some digging vs the DJ 41. There were alot of comments that it was a Rolex failure, that it was a dog in the line up etc. Why all the hate? Please enlighten me.
Incoming and Hello!
https://imgur/gallery/GWwggHi All,After many months of lurking on these forums and lusting after a vintage datejust, I finally made the purchase. This is a 1979 SS DJ that came from the incredible dbhak22. I could not be happier with this piece and I look forward to posting more pictures in the future! Pleased to meet you all,Matthew
