Introducing: The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding With New Caliber 5100
For serious watch enthusiasts there’s pretty much nothing more interesting than the launch of a new movement, and Vacheron Constantin has just introduced a brand new self-winding movement in an Overseas case; it’ll be offered in either stainless steel or 18k pink gold. This is an in-house movement, Vacheron caliber 5100, beating at 28,800 vph, with two mainspring barrels and a 60 hour power reserve. 1 OF 4 2 OF 43 OF 4 4 OF 4 The movement has a 22k gold weight for the automatic winding system, and the watch is water resistant to 150 meters. The pink gold model comes with a leather strap, as well as a rubber strap. Dials are in sunburst blue or silver, and the both models are certified by the Hallmark of Geneva (Geneva Seal). Most versatile AP...
Just wanted to see what everyone else's thoughts are on this...I lean towards the Diver when I think of being versatile - I think it's the right blend of dressy and sporty. And looks just as good in a suit and shorts ---(Not to say I'm not a fan of all the others!!!)CheersSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Review of my new Royal Oak 15400

15300 or 15400 in Montreal anyone ?
Hi Everyone, especially the AP lovers up north.I was wondering if there was anyone around willing for a small GTG so I can try a 15300 ? Reason I am asking is that none are in store at the swiss in Montreal. Before jumping on a nice new one I found I would prefer to try it and see it in the flesh. Either will do to help with the decision.Willing to pay coffee or Dominic
What do you guys wear with your DSOTM?
I'm this close to pulling the trigger on a DSOTM, but I'm having trouble thinking about when I'd wear it. I don't ever wear anything black. I don't know if I own a a single black piece of clothing. I love blue and have tons of stuff that goes with my blue watches, but I'm not sure the dark side would get wrist time. Just curious what you pair it with.
