IWC Big Pilot Watch In Blue For North American Boutique Shops
While there isn't a whole lot new about this watch, it does have a great black and blue motif to it. This is a special limited edition version of the IWC Big Pilot watch that will exclusively be available in IWC's North American boutique stores. There are still very few details about the watch, such as the price or the amount in the limited edition. What I can say is that IWC is a nice job "re-imagining" the dial in a sober sky blue splendor. There is also matching blue stitching on the alligator pilot style strap. The case is in all steel, and 46.2mm wide. It is everything you know and love about the Big Pilot complete with turnip style crown. The blue dial uses blue for most all the markers and hands. The designers did something that I like a lot, which is do the Arabic hour numerals in outlined blue mixed with the solid blue hour and minute markers. This is a difference between this style and the standard Big Pilot watch collection. The white on black date disc isn't in blue, but fra
Bulgari has enlarged its iconic Assioma collection with a new men's timepiece
The sapphire crystal case-back shows off the enchanting details of the movement, including such decorative elements as graceful Cotes de Geneve, perlage and satine soleil finishes. The movement features a balance wheel making 21,600 alternations per hour. Studded with 37 jewels, the movement boasts a 40-hour power reserve. Bulgari has enlarged its iconic Assioma collection with a new men's timepiece featuring innovative shape and functions.

5107G arrived/Question on box
After a few weeks wait, I finally took delivery of my 5107G. I'm pretty happy with it and it now joins my Nautilus in my small collection. I have a question about the box it came with though. It did not come with the big wooden box that my Nautilus came with. Instead it came in a small, thin box along with the papers. See photoDid this reference always come in this type of box? The watch was originally purchased in 2002. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Satisfied with the novelties?
Wanted to know what you thought about this year's novelties?Went to see what Rolex did and was very disappointed, apart an interesting but not for me Yacht Master, and a new movement nothing good there.Of course the pilot watch is quite special and hard to believe that it's Patek who really made such a watch, the blue dial seems very nice in real life pics, but it was, IMO, stupid to make it in WG, for me such a watch needs to be SS. In any case I'm sure that in real it's a beautiful pilot watch, for those who like, not my case, but at probably around 50K because of the WG…Love the 5270, I prefer it to the 5970 personally, I think it's much more modern looking, though the 5970 is a beast also, so the new model without the chin is very cool, love that blue dial, I'm really a sucker for blue dials...I really like the 5905 in blue dial, for a chrono with AC it's a beauty, wonder how much it costs, I guess with the platinum around 80K, but as much as I wouldn't buy a chrono only watc
