Introducing: The Montblanc TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph
In addition to the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Collection Twincounter Date and the Chronométrie Collection Annual Calendar Chronograph we talked about earlier this week, Montblanc has pre-released another exceptional watch for SIHH 2016 – the TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph Limited Edition 100. 1 OF 3 You may be familiar with the ExoTourbillon from the Villeret or Heritage collections that have been released in previous years. The ExoTourbillon, by definition, is a tourbillon without the cage that is fitted into the escapement and is instead placed on a rotating platform under the balance (see more here for Jack's extensive review and description of the Villeret ExoTourbillon Rattrapante). However, this year's release is much different from previous ExoTourbillons released in the past as this is the first ExoTourbillon in the TimeWalker collection. ***mods please delete of this is not within the forum guidelines***Hi all,I am an active member on the Rolex and omega threads but have never been in the AP section. Although I love the way APs look I have never really though of getting one. However, recently I have been keeping an open eye and trying to educate myself about them.Coincidentally, yesterday an acquaintance contacted me knowing I am familiar with local and online sellers and was interested in selling his AP and wanted to make sure he would get a good deal as he is not well educated about the second hand/pre owned market. Honestly, neither am I when it comes to APs but I offered to help. I checked prices on watchrecon and Chrono 24 and kind of have an idea what the watch could fetch in its condition. After a discussion with my wife, I am thinking of purchasing it myself. However, due to the fact that I have no experience in this brand and always purchase my watches from boutiques or trusted sellers here, I would like confi
15400 bracelet
Need some help guys.I am thinking about adding a RG bracelet to my 15400 and I reached out to AP clearwater to get availability and pricing. I was a pretty shocked at the price she gave me. Not sure if she made a mistake but before I reach back out to her figured you guys can help me. Anyone have an idea on pricing? Thanks!
The 38mm Transocean
Is a sleeper. An elegant, oh so wearable watch...and a fair value, too...Sensible proportions...dressy but still adventurous...The more I wear it, the more I like it.And that, I think, is the mark of a watch that's a pleasure to own.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Basel Fatigue?
Hi I was wondering if anyone here sometimes wishes that Rolex would take a year off from Basel? One of the things I appreciate from Rolex, is that they stay true to their models, we don't see 100 different limited editions etc.I sometimes wonder, wouldn't it be great if Rolex only made some small changes at Basel (ie consolidate some models, perhaps put the new 32. movement in some watches) and really just focus on producing more of their current great models so they can sell more to the consumers who want them. No more 2 year waitlists!I think of the time I might save by not pondering endless speculation threads about this or that? My employer would be happy, I mean I really should take a vacation day on March 22nd because I am not exactly productive on my computer that day! Anyhow, not sure I would really like this, the anticipation is a big part of the fun, but sometimes I wonder..........
