AP vorPatek
I currently have a Sea Dweller 116600 as my daily wearer, and I'm in the market for two watches to give me a rounded collection:(1) AP Royal Oak or Patek 5711(2) Vintage Rolex Submariner 5513 (for classic occasions)I have some very specific demands of the 5513 so I'm preparing myself for a long search (years rather than months), so my priority is the AP or PP.I have small wrists (which suits both watches, probably a 36mm or 37mm AP) and I prefer Steel to precious metals (which is lucky given my budget!).Previously I have mainly bought new, but for this I will be looking at the used market due to my budget. To look at, I slightly prefer the Patek but only very slightly. I could stretch to the Patek (although it makes my life a lot easier not to) but only if it is justified. So my question is (finally), how does an AP Royal Oak (15450 for example) compare to a Patek Nautilus (5711 for example) in terms of quality. There is a pretty significant difference in price, so I assume the Patek mus
ROO FC 26400 / ROO Ceramic 26402 or ROO SS 44mm 26400
Hi TRF's looking at a few options on my next purchase i already own a submariner 116610ln and i would like to add a ap as my next collection, so i narrowed it down to these 3 options would be great if i have some question answered and some input on these watches.I have not seen these pieces in person and i will when i travel to the nearest boutique . I prefer the 44mm models as compared to the 42mm with the rubber pusher ,it just dont appeal to me that much because of the dial and rubber chrono pushers i preffer the styling of the 44mm my question are as follows:1) how do they wear on a 6.5 -7inch wrist, i dont think a have a large wrist (4links on the 6oclock and 5and a half links on 12 oclock on my submariner)2) how durable are the forged carbon and the ceramic ? in terms of scratches knocks and dings, I am a very very clumbsy person as i frequently knock on my watches.3) is it worth that amount of $$ around 30,000usd for the FC and Ceramic on chrono24 as this is my frist time buyin

233 "dot" not so rare...
In reading all the posts here about 233's, I very often see that the 233 dot models are harder and harder to find, that's the answer given most of the time to members thinking of buying a 233.But there not so hard to find, just taking a look on Chrono24 there's about 5-6 of them on sale, not new but in mint condition going around 7.000-8.000 euros, compared to the AD price of 10.900 euros for a new model it seems to me much more interesting to get a dot model, they're much cheaper, and as much as I like the AM/PM version, I wanted as my first Pam to buy the 335 in ceramic which has AM/PM, but the seller sold it the day before and proposed me the 233 dot, which I gladly purchased, if I should get a 4th Pam it would either be the 36 or the 335, I do prefer the 233 in it's dot version.Especially it's nicer IMO to have a model which is out of production than to pay a lot more for an actual production model, so for those thinking of buying a 233, the dot ones are still easy to get, so save
