Ulysse Nardin Classico Lady Watch with a ring of Sapphire around it
In addition to jewels the dial is made of a complex to the enamel. The great case of 35 mm is 18 k white gold. While the design of the dial is a bit jaded for me, I cannot deny the jewellery-like effort involved in the production. what I don't like, it is the shape of the lugs and Crown, with a ring of Sapphire around it.
Just purchased and was curious to know your thoughts.
Hello,Never owned a vintage watch before as I've always bought new. Fancied adding one to my collection but wasn't really looking to spend too much. Been looking at various forums, Ebay etc and there is obviously an abundance of Omega's on offer. I have taken quite some time to become familiar with condition/age reflective in cost and saw something that caught my eye over the weekend on Ebay.I pursued the bidding beyond what I had really set my limit at but overall I think (I hope) i've made the right decision. It turns up tomorrow and I have my fingers crossed it's all legit, otherwise it'll go back on sale again ha ha.Anyways... Please let me know your thoughts, if you have any, and please don't hold back if you have anything negative to say. In hindsight I should really have done this in the time window before I bought it but I just went with it.This was the description placed by the sellerWOW, FOR SALE, A 1973 OMEGA CALIBRE 1030 MANUAL. - STUNNING CONDITION.LARGE 37MM DIAMETER WITH
Input please - sell or trade or keep
Ok, I am getting a new watch next week, my AD has offered about 1000.00 trade on my Seamaster Chronodiver. I am worried about getting scammed by private selling myself on craigslist/ebay. What should I do? I should add that I don't think the Omega will get much wrist time after next week, the watch I am getting is my grail.
Which Panerai model should I buy?
I am considering purchasing my first Panerai. Any suggestions on a particular model for a first time buyer? Thanks!
Positive experience with Rolex Service.
I just came back from picking up my Z-series SD from service at Gassan in Amsterdam.I know that they are not technically a RSC but rather an authorised service center, so I was prepared to get just the watch back in a plastic ziplock bag as it has happened years ago. This perspective was a bit annoying because the service costs are fully in line with RSC prices. i.e. hardly cheap !But I was pleasantly surprised to get the full package: the watch in the green Rolex service pouch, the service booklet and the service 2-year warranty card printed with the watch info and service date. Another interesting surprise was that I got back the old bezel insert, as I agreed to have it replaced during the service. I was under the impression that Rolex never returned replaced partsI was wearing my '91 GMTII coke and asked if it was possible to get the insert replaced to Pepsi and still get the original coke insert back. The answer was yes , and the cost was a very reasonable 75 euros. They agreed t
