"Watch What-If" is a special column on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off of will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the artwork and concepting after he and I choose the models and styles to focus on. AP Lady Quartz movement?
does anyone know if AP lady quartz movements are made in house or from Jaeger or someone else?thank you

This is a watch you do not see everyday... here she is.. one of my favourates and this is why.. because for me it represents a lot of soul.... and demonstrates Panerais's Engineering Might and its ability to cater for the best......Mike Horn (a great South African modern day explorer, Chris must be pleased) started testing Panerai watches in 2001.. he planned a trip to treck the Antarktic and Panerai designed a special watch for him. it was AMAGNETIC where all the components would not get effected by the magnetic field and it also had special fluids as to operate on extream temperature.. Mike horn wore the watch during his trip and said at under -70deg C, all his sophisticated instruments froze on him with the exception to the Panerai ARKTOS. the Pam 92 ARKTOS was issued as limited edition of 500 in 2004.. after the first stage of the treck Mike asked for the watch to be modified to have the GMT function... Panerai then quickly modified the watch and sent it to him... hence
