Cadence 4:20 Watch For The Most Important Time Of The Day
Not that Cadence is the last brand I would have guessed may release a timepiece like this, but the sport watch brand wasn't HIGH on the list. For those needing a bold reminder when it is blaze hour, Cadence offers up the 4:20 watch. A pretty simple minimalistic design with baton hour markers and hands, save for a bold Arabic numeral indicator at 4:20. Actually, the indicator is at 4 o'clock, but when the hour and minute hand are touching it - the time will be 4:20.The explanation they give for the watch is rather amusing: "If you think 4:20 is the most important time of day, this watch is for you. If you have no idea why 4:20 is a special time of day, there is nothing here for you."Growing up in California I know exactly what it means - and it isn't tea time. It is marijuana smoking time - for those so inclined. Now you have a pretty subtle watch you can wear with a suit, but one that you can stare at and also have a daily reminder of your daily habit. Planet Ocean GMT (Dial Choices)
I'm a big fan of this watch personally, but I know some are not. Some of the contention is related to the color scheme (blue w/ orange), others just have an issue with the GMT bezel because it's not a true dive watch. As you know, the only dial option now is the Good Planet blue dial w/ orange accents on the bezel, however the other dial choices below will be available soon. Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on the other dial choices...1) Black w/ Orange Number 2) Blue w/ Orange (Good Planet - Available Now) 3) Black w/ SS Numbers 4) Orange Misc Blue/Orange Bezel Pics (Awesome Watch - IMO):
5711 vs 5712 blue
Hi all, Is the blue dial 5711 exactly same color as the blue 5712?From photos they look same but I real I never had a chance to see them together and honestly the blue on the 5712 looks very grayish and I can't really confirm that both dials have exactly same color. Thanks for any who can confirm this to meSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My new Patek (not quite!)
He loves his 5711 too.
Thoughts on 18K Yellow Gold Calatrava 3802/200
Hey guys,I have a few SS Rolex and wanted to add a dressier watch on a strap. A nice 3802 with box and archive papers is being sold locally for $8,250. I still have to try it on but at 33mm it sounds small, but it may work for my 6.5 wrist. Is this a desirable piece and is the price good? I'm really digging the classic look and roman dial. It was serviced 5 years ago.Any and all inputs would be appreciated. Attached pic is borrowed from the net. Thanks in advance!
