Montblanc is the Official Timekeeper of the 2010 Belmont Stakes
Montblanc has announced that it will serve as official timekeeper for the Belmont Stakes thoroughbred race on June 5, 2010 at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY. At 1.5 miles, the Belmont Stakes is the longest and most demanding of the Triple Crown races. During the winner’s circle presentation, Montblanc North America President and CEO Jan-Patrick Schmitz will award a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec timepiece to the owner of the winning horse. Montblanc shares a historical connection to horse racing through its Rieussec-inspired chronograph. As the dedicated watchmaker for Louis Philippe, the last king of France, Rieussec made history on September 1, 1821 when he succeeded in recording the times of all the horses as they passed the finishing line to an accuracy of a quarter of a second. Not sure how many folks here are on it, but I have found typing a reference in will give you hundreds of high quality photos. I prefer it to Google images. Most are taken with a newer cell phone so the resolution isn't as good as a high quality digital but a lot better than what I have found searching Google. For example, type in 15300 and see if you like what you see. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Incoming PAM320
Hi Guys,I just received my first Panerai today, PAM320. I was looking to buy another Rolex (Hulk) but got the Panerai bug. I was looking for 44mm case with clear back case, in-house automatic movement, seconds hand, date, GMT and power reserve indicator so that short listed my choices to 320/321 and 270. 270 is 5-6k more expensive than 320/321 here in Canada and 321 dial is too busy for my liking so I ended up ordering PAM320. So happy with my choice
Basel Shmasel....
Lots of great stuff out of Basel, but there's lots of great stuff already in all of our collections! Let's not forget what we have on our wrist right now!
Rosegold daytona owners helppp!
I really need some advice and opinion on this one I'm struggling between this two daytona now narrowed down from considering the yg blue dial sub and the 44ap however I've tried the 44 and it's too big and having to part with my greytheme I'm just not ready for that. Yg sub is hot however I'm 22 and everyone around me says it's too much gold or else it'd be perfect (ceramic bezel + full gold) Now yesterday I went to try on the full rg daytona and it was stunning in person! The heft of the thing it does sing to me but, The polish bezel is really pulling me back I have a greytheme and even the brushed bezel annoyed me a bit so dont know how the polished would do when there's scratches on it. So the contender is this beauty but I love the look of the ceramic choc however the bracelet is amazing thoughts? How does the polish bezel look when scratched please share.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
