Sinn 240 ST Review
Last year at Basel World, Sinn announced a handful of curious and unexpected watches, from the diving-pilot's EZM 3F to the cleverly vintage 903 ST B E. But perhaps the most surprising was the 240 ST. Utilizing a case that dates back to at least the 80's, this barrel shaped tool-pilot is both new and a throwback. For those familiar with Sinn's line and history, you'll immediately note that the case comes from the revered 140/142 chronographs. Originally powered by the Lemania 5100, these rugged chronos are collector's pieces not just for their style, but also for their historical significance. As discussed in this article here, the 140/142s were, for a time, considered to be the first automatic chronographs worn in space. Sinn has since reissued those watches with their in-house modified Valjoux 7750 movement, the SZ01 and packed them full of their in-house tech. Questions before taking the plunge
Been thinking for a while now about taking the step up to an AP or a Patek. Royal Oak vs Nautilus. Have tried both on and while I always leant towards PP the AP 15400 with the black dial looks like it could be the winner. I tried the watch on for a second time today but again left without it. I have always been a Rolex only guy and still have a few doubts. I am used to strapping on my explorer 2 or a datejust and not worrying about it. I don't want to spend what is to me a huge sum on the AP and only wear it on special occasions. Is the Royal Oak robust enough to wear on a daily basis? Can I get it wet (swimming etc) AP say yes on their website but what have others found? Are the serving costs as bad as I have heard?Thanks.

Love my pair. One for sport, one a little dressier, although still very modern, young feel to it. Happy happy! Can't wait for nr 3!

Will the new GMT II Pepsi dial make the BLNR less desirable
