Thinking of flipping the 15400
A bit of background, I have been downsizing my collection lately to put money into my apartment, it is the only debt I have and I want to be debt free by year end.Over time I've had many watches from many brands, too many to list, at one point I had 10 in rotation. I have downsized to what you see in my signature and am thinking of selling the Vulcain and Panerai. That would leave me with four, three actually because the Santos is an 80s two tone model that I don't wear, it belonged to my late father so I will keep it forever. I will get something else to have four in rotation, been thinking of getting a SubC (owned one at one point) and I was just offered a very nice GMT coke from 2001 in pristine condition.Now to the real issue, as much as I like the 15400 it really doesn't fit me right (even after getting a 1/2 link), a 15300 I used to own felt much more comfortable and the size was just right. Buying 2nd hand Aqua Terra, should I worry about which 2500 movement?
Hi everyone! I'm considering buying a second hand Aqua Terra. I would really appreciate any advice about 1) Can I tell from looking through the display back which version of the 2500 movement it has? Is there any other way to tell?, and 2) Should I not buy it if it has either a 2500A or 2500B? It's a four year old 2503 model. I don't know what movement was standard with this model. Any help or advice on buying this great watch would be very much appreciated.

5396 purchase in dubai - wise move?
Hello all, - just joined the forum having Bought my new Rolex Sub date a couple of months ago in Malta from the AD there, I'm very happy with it, but now decided a dress up watch is needed- I guess this is how the watch bug starts ..!)Visited a PP Dealer in Dubai with the intention of looking only at a Calatrava, but was blown clean away with a Annual calendar 5036G-11.Anyone consider it too complicated for a dress watch ?It would clearly be significant investment and hopefully as a thing of true beauty the watch will be a keeper: so does anyone here have any Dubai buying experience or sage advice? This dealer is in the main Mall in Dubai and not in an airport outlet.SteveMalta

Paper box
When you buy a watch from an AD, is it normal they take away the paper box(with the transparent window) if you cut open the plastic bag on the spot? Or I can request to keep it?I bought mine today but only realised after the fact that the AD kept the paper box
