The below essay is a contribution from Evan Tich:My name is Evan Tich, and I am currently living in Hong Kong and will be for the remainder of my high school years. I have relocated many times in my life due to my father's job. It came as no surprise to me when my dad sat our family down and broke the news, again. Different cities ideas flew through my head, but never in my life would I have expected to move to such a foreign place as Hong Kong; however, I have been living here for three years as a student, a soccer player, and, most importantly, a watch enthusiast - and have been loving every minute of it.When I made the long trip to Hong Kong International Airport, it was no surprise that there were many things different to that of which I was accustomed to in the United States; however, the longer I rested in the city of Hong Kong, the more accustomed I grew to it. In the middle, the pattern changes to look like a race track curve, a bit like a flag, or perhaps the Microsoft Windows logo (surely the latter).The 44-45mm wide case came in titanium or steel and was made in the 'carbon fiber' era (as I call it). In terms of case size, I am not totally sure, but I think the gold model was a bit larger than the titanium model. The bezel on the top and sides are all inlaid nicely with carbon fiber. This also applied to the chronograph pusher housings on sides of the watch. The chronograph pushers on this model were originally meant to look like gas pedals, but have since been used so much that forget their original theme. I love the woven stitching on the alligator strap. Supposed to look like a racing suit, but (especially on the titanium model) reminds me of a Spiderman web.

New Guy with New Watch...........
Hello All,Figured I would introduce myself here in the Omega section as well, I am located in Calgary Alberta and joined the forum with the intent to research and purcase a Rolex. Well in my searches I ran across an Omega Planet Ocean 2209.50 for sale by train-time and REALLY liked it so bought it!! Was a perfect transaction and he had it to me as described overnight!! Anyhow just because I know none of you have seen these particular watches here are a couple of pics from train-time's for sale post (None on me yet)..........That being said I am sure I will be lurking around, I am going to use this watch as my daily wearer, am still on the hunt for a Rolex 16710 Coke or Pepsi model for occasional wear, and wear an old Tag Kirium as my beater.Tony2
