Explaining The aBlogtoRead.com Good Value, Bad Idea, And Seal Of Approval Award System
New feature starting today on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. You'll begin to see some award icons on select posts. The system is meant to place emphasis on various products, brands, services, events, innovations, etcthat represent one of three ideals. I am going to be selective when it comes to awarding these icons, so just because an article doesn't have an icon, does not mean it wouldn't necessarily deserve such an award. Now let's become acquainted with the three new icons that you'll begin to see on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. Note that I am also going to slowly revisit existing articles and award the icons where appropriate. The first icon award is the most straight forward. The "Good Value" Award will be merited when something offers a lot for what it costs. Speedy Bracelet question
Hi guysI have a Speedy 35593200 Schumacher.Sorry, I dont have any photos at the moment. But if you could picture the bracelet and the center links (the brushed middle links with the polished side sections).About 4 of the links are'nt as large/thick as the others. Is this normal?Should these links be located on the clasp ends of the bracelet (the inside of the wrist)? where the wrist is flatter?I suppose another way of putting my question over is, do all the center links have the same dimentions?Kind regardsJon
5167A or 5167/1A
Hey guys,Looking for a bit of advice. I finally got permanent residence in Sweden having moved here from Australia and am looking to celebrate with a Patek. I was actually looking at doing it with a Rolex but every AD that I have even the smallest relationship to is rejecting putting anyone into a list. So I thought if I am going to wait, may as well be for a Patek! Now I walked into my AD here and found out that they could do a 1 year wait on the 5167/1A vs a 2 or 3 year wait on a 5167A. They also said they can add the rubber strap with the 1A but if you get the A you can't get a bracelet for that. Weird but okay. They require a 20% deposit which is fine but what do you guys think? Also I assume no discount is on the cards at all hahaI'm thinking a 1 year wait for the 1A is the way to go.
