Alpina and Cessna Hold Collaboration Event
To celebrate their collaboration, Alpina and Cessna recently held an event at Cessna Aircraft's headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. Selected VIP customers attended a presentation and viewed over 30 airplanes in different stages of production. What are your opinions on the new Tudor black bay?
What do you guys think of the new black bay range released at Baselworld this year?In my opinion the whole concept doesn't make sense. In recent years it would seem that Tudor have been attempting to move away from the tudor shield logo and towards the (better looking, in my opinion) vintage tudor rose. However on the new black bay range tudor has reverted to the more modern looking shield. Why? This makes no sense when considering the vintage riveted bracelet look, (which I think is a little tacky as the rivets serve no purpose and are simply there for aesthetics.) Do Tudor want old or modern? Finally the curved text has been scrapped and replaced with straight text. This is a little too Rolex for my liking. I really thought Tudor were trying to break away. Are Tudor struggling to decide what they want the black bay to be? Comparison New vs Old
