Citizen Donates $1.3 million to Japanese Disaster Relief
Citizen is donating $1.3 million to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami disaster relief effort. Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc., (COA), encompassing the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, has already donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross, earmarked for the Japanese effort. Citizen Holdings Co., Ltd. has announced an additional donation of one hundred million yen ($1.25 million). Citizen is headquartered in Tokyo, with offices, factories and employees throughout Japan, said Laurence Grunstein, President, Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc. Our thoughts are with them, along with the millions of other people affected by this terrible disaster.
