Advice 15400/15450 on 6.8 wrist
I have a 6.8 (17.5cm) wrist and i am trying to choose between a 15400 and 15450 white dail. No AD close by to try them on so i will be buying the watch online. So i realy could use some advise so that i can make the right choice.I have sub dates (ceramic) and a sub 14060m. I can wear both models fine altough have a slight preference for the 14060m sizewise for my wrist. I'm not a fan of big/oversized watches.I'm leaning towards the 15450 but some YouTube videos with the 15400 on a 6.5 inch wrist is making me question again as it looked fine and propotional. Its a bit hard to measure but i think the top of my wrist is about 2.16 (5.5cm) so i asume lug overhang won't be an issue with the 15400Here is a pick from my sub on my wrist:imgur . com/a/Zt7K3 (remove the spaces to view)Please let me know what you think. 15400 or 15450?
Need Advice in Canada
Well in Vancouver to be more specific.First time poster here, but I'm looking to pickup a PO and was wondering what my best options are in Vancouver. My friend suggested me to go to the peace arch duty free as they sell Omegas there and they are willing to negotiate. Otherwise I'll be going to Hong Kong in a February for Chinese new years however reading forums they don't seem to really give discounts anymore doh. This would be my first big watch purchase so I'm trying to do all the reading I can to edumacate myself.

I'm posting this down and dirty photo to prove to myself that this did in fact happen. Yes, I put it on my list but never expected this - quite a surprise!Fr. John?
Abandunce of models suddenly - a theory
Many might know I am a huge fan of the 5327 blue dial and for various reasons being holding back (Baselworld etc). However every dealer I go to seems to have one in the window. Isn't it selling?? Then I noticed when looking for 5205R my AD only received them in October every year! Wierd!! No ways I was going to wait Then we have had a surge in 5131R's...increasing production? Cleaning out the cupboard??Here is my theory following chats with various AD's and Salons and my interpretation. PP is a profitable business and Swiss. Known for efficiencies and precision...it's obvious they schedule production runs. We know the cases are made in batches as are dials so it makes sense that in a factory of 2000 watchmakers they know down to the date and hour which assembly line will be doing which assemblies and how many and for how long. It's therefore feasible that following a run of Worldtime or 5327 these are shipped globally. You will therefore see a glut for a period of time until demand abs
DJ41 jubilee clasp micro adjustment.
Hi all, new member here but have been lurking for the past few months. I was recently given a DJ41 for my 30th Birthday and just had a couple of questions in regards to the micro clasp adjustments for the jubilee band. I have searched but Haven't managed to find the answer I'm looking for (what's the official name for the 3 set of holes anyway?). Anyway in regards to adjustment how big/smaller does each set of holes make the watch? In comparison to a standard jubilee link, is it 1/4 or 1/2 link? They are currently set on the middle set of holes. Watch is tight but only gets uncomfortable when hot. If I open the easy link then it's a little big and ends up moving up and down on my wrist. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for any input.
