Jorg Gray JG3700 Watches
One of Jorg Gray's new for 2011 models is the JG3700 collection that comes in both three-hand and chronograph models. For an interesting watch under $1,000 Jorg Gray offers a lot of good choices. Visually interesting though still classic in their proportions the JG3700 watch collection is an interesting range.One of the nicest elements of the design is how the Italian calf-leather strap is fitted to case. This integrated look is always a bonus. The case is 45mm wide in steel and water resistant to 100 meters. Some models are polished while others are polished and then done in IP black. The crystal is one of those mineral glasses coated in sapphire. Different brands have different names for this, but the idea is to offer the scratch resistance of an all sapphire crystal in a less expensive watch.Aside from the case the three-hand and chronograph models have totally different dials. AP problem .. ?
Anybody has a same problem with me ? My AP watch just didnt work after you wind it using the pusher, you have to shake your watch then its working. And if you wear it its working, no problem.Is this normal guys ? Is it a problem with the pusher ?Thank you

Speedmaster sapphire caseback fitting
Just thought I would share with you my Speedy caseback transformation utilising a Thomas Preik sappire caseback. This is an easy DIY job and all you need is a tool that has an end like this:You simply adjust to size and unscrew the existing caseback. Here's mine from 1969 for anyone that hasn't seen a pre-moon Speedy caseback obviously lacking the FIRST WATCH ON THE MOON wording When the caseback is removed you will be faced with a shiny dust cover which just needs prising off with something sharp to get into the join.After having removed this you will need to sit the spacer provided with the caseback on top of the movement edge. The spacer looks like this: And when in place like this:Next is to make sure the new caseback is clean so careful of finger marks. This is the inside of it.And simply screw it back in place, initially finger tight and then with the tool.I absolutely love it since it seemed such a shame to keep the glorious 861 manual wind movement under wraps.The website for

Keep or sale
I have a Rolex 14060M that I love, simple and clean. I also have an Omega 2254.50. Both watches are black divers and to me look very similar. The Omega is at the spa right now at a cost of $400. Should I keep the watch now that it will be like new or sell it to fund another watch. Would I get any more for the watch with the recent service from Nesbit Service Center, which comes with a 2 yr warranty.ThanksJohn

Daytona 16520 T serial handwritten certificate
I was offered a Rolex 16520 T serial with a handwritten certificate. Could this be legit since the T serial is dated 1996? My 16520 U serial in 1998 has a punched certificate.
