An Afternoon With Jorn Of Linde Werdelin Watches In London
By WatchAnishThe good thing about London (well there has to be something to make up for rain in the summer and 20% VAT) is that it's a buzzing city and quite often when you ask someone to visit, they more than likely say yes.To that end, It's easy to see why Linde Werdelin decided to occupy an office in London's trendy Notting Hill. For me personally it's perfect, as 20 minutes after leaving my house I find myself sharing coffee and chit chat with Jorn Werdelin. You can kind of see the correlation between the brand and its founders when you meet and speak to Jorn and Morten. Both are quite young guys in terms of watch brand CEOs, and their personalities really show through their watches. Like active but with some refined qualities (is that another way of saying sports luxury? I didn't want to use that term...oh well I've just used it now!). I find it easy to relate to these guys and also their products because I am personally someone that also shares a lot of the same ideas and interest
Diver+Bracelet
Loving it so far.
So the first Schumacher hits Ebay......
Of course from Motion in Time, with a 10k premium! Now what I find funny is...... How the hell did he get one already if only the Boutiques have been shipped? And he's in NY!
5711 Clasp Issue
Hi All, Long time lurker, first time poster!! After a few months of research and phoning around dealers I managed to obtain a BN 5711 about a month ago and all has been well so far, love the watch to bits! I had to get a 1.5 link installed to get a nice fit on the wrist, however I have recently had issues with the clasp popping open when flexing my wrist at certain angles for example, if climbing out swimming pool or pushing myself up from the desk at work... I used to have similar issue with a Cartier Tank Francaise a few years ago and actually lost that watch, obviously dont want a repeat experience.......AD said to bring it back so he can look it over, just wondered if anyone else had suffered this issue?? Cheers.
UK Watch Insurance
I am seeking some advice that can hopefuly be offered in this great forum. After living and working abroad for 9 years I am finally moving back to the UK. I will still be travelling around the world 3 weeks a month though so will require world wide cover. I am looking for specialist watch insurance for my collection, I have spoken to various home insurers and none will accept the watches as a listed item. Can any one recommend a good watch insurance company, or maybe one that does house hold cover, and would accept my watches. My collection on a new basis would be around the 80k GBP mark.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
