Introducing: The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding With New Caliber 5100
For serious watch enthusiasts there’s pretty much nothing more interesting than the launch of a new movement, and Vacheron Constantin has just introduced a brand new self-winding movement in an Overseas case; it’ll be offered in either stainless steel or 18k pink gold. This is an in-house movement, Vacheron caliber 5100, beating at 28,800 vph, with two mainspring barrels and a 60 hour power reserve. 1 OF 4 2 OF 43 OF 4 4 OF 4 The movement has a 22k gold weight for the automatic winding system, and the watch is water resistant to 150 meters. One of the most notable features of the watch is that it’s being delivered, in stainless steel, with two straps and a stainless steel bracelet, and they’re interchangeable. The pink gold model comes with a leather strap, as well as a rubber strap. Dials are in sunburst blue or silver, and the both models are certified by the Hallmark of Geneva (Geneva Seal). How waterproof is the speedy DSOTM
Had my DSOTM for 3 months now and I've read the stories of don't swim with your Speedmaster, but how waterproof is it ? I'm used to dive watches and give them a wash in the sink from time to time, can I do the same with the DSOTM ?
Hot From The Oven!
Walk into the AD's shop over the weekend and came out with this.
PAM 326 blue face titanium chrono?
Hope everyone is well. I'm considering selling my 326, as I want to make room for some other things. It was my first Panerai, then I got the dirty dial, PAM 24 and the PAM 88. I think I burned out! it is 46/500 and is spectacular condition. I'm curious about the general level of interest in this watch. I never see it on the street, is it a rare piece? General value suggestions or opinions would be welcome. I originally bought it used at Tourneau so I have a receipt, and a wood box. No papers. Check out some photos!
Worn and Wound + Tudor Black Bay R
Received my W&W Russet Model 2 today 22mm. Installed on my Tudor Black Bay Red. I think it looks good and very comfortable. Quality is excellent. Came with 2 new spring bars also. They are located in Brooklyn, NY but only sell online. I took a few pics for y'll.
