Hi guys,I am so happy to share with you my first ever AP ROO Chronograph 'Black Theme'. It's a very beautiful yet elegant timepiece though not as eye catching as the Navy, Panda or Volcano version of the same model but a very humble one which will not catch too much attention at work.Here is some unboxing and wrist shots and I hope you will join me to share my happiness.I'm keeping the plastic on as I will wait to wear it on my birthday some months later.Cheers
First: First Post. First Patek. 5524G
I am a long-time collector with varied tastes and interests. I own only one Rolex (Explorer II Polar 42mm), and up until today, no Patek. I focused on some independents, some custom pieces, IWC, AP, Omega, Germans and others. Basically, I carefully collect what hits that nerve!I was smitten with the 5524G when it was introduced. I decided then, that I would own one, but would hold off and commemorate the sale of my business with this piece one day. At that moment, there was no specific timetable. Pleased to report the business transaction was finalized very recently...so...5524G here I come!I was able to find one (NIB) at an appropriate price with little drama. I picked it up today and am very pleased. The watch has been reviewed, discussed, photographed, by so many collectors and enthusiasts that I won't do so here. But I will share my first impressions, hours old now.The size, weight and wrist presence is a perfect match for my taste. I wear mostly sport/pilot/dive watches and am com
